Basketball Recap: Northwestern Comes Up Short

Northwestern was the 56-44 winner over Graham Local when they last played one another back in January, but their luck changed this time around. The Northwestern Warriors took a 51-40 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Graham Local Falcons on Friday. The Warriors have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Northwestern's defeat dropped their record down to 5-14. As for Graham Local, their win bumped their record up to 5-15.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Northwestern won't have much time to rest: their next game is against Northeastern at 7:30 p.m. on Saturday. Northeastern knows how to get points on the board -- the team has finished with 55 points or more in their past four matches -- so hopefully Northwestern likes a good challenge. As for Graham Local, they will challenge Yellow Springs at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
