Faith Christian has no trouble against Four Corners

Even though the Four Corners Coyotes scored an imposing 58 points on Tuesday, the Faith Christian Lions still came out on top. Faith Christian put the hurt on Four Corners with a sharp 79-58 victory. That's another feather in the cap for Faith Christian, who also won these teams' last head-to-head.

Faith Christian was led to victory by Salot Roundtree and Brandon Rivera. Roundtree scored 17 points along with 7 rebounds, while Rivera scored 19 points. Another player making a difference was Josiah Brown, who scored 11 points along with 5 rebounds.

Despite the defeat, Four Corners saw an underclassman step up: Ian Parham scored 22 points. Kesh Harpal was another key contributor, scoring 12 points.

The win makes it two in a row for Faith Christian and bumps their season record up to 2-0. As for Four Corners, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 0-2.

Faith Christian will look to defend their home court on Thursday against Circle Christian at 7:00 p.m. Circle Christian will have to bring their A-game into this one, as they are staring down a pretty big deficit in the MaxPreps Florida Rankings (they are ranked 509th, while Faith Christian is ranked 109th). As for Four Corners, they will head out on the road to face off against Varsity Opponent at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. Varsity Opponent has now lost ten straight, and the team is hunting for their first win since November 28.
