Volleyball Recap: Weaver Beavers vs. Granby Memorial Bears

It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact Weaver can now relate to. They lost 3-0 to the Granby Memorial Bears on Tuesday. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest loss the Beavers have suffered since October 8th.

Kylee Muse paced Weaver's offense, picking up three kills. Muse got some help from Destinee Chapman and her four assists. Kahalia Grant controlled things from the service line, finishing with four aces.

Leading Granby Memorial to victory were Cleo Kuester and Lily Holmes. Kuester had 11 digs and four aces, while Holmes had five digs and three aces. Kuester has been hot, having posted 11 or more digs the last six times she's played.

This is the second loss in a row for Weaver and nudges their season record down to 14-8. As for Granby Memorial, they are on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 13-9 record this season.
