Volleyball Recap: Sabetha Takes a Loss

Sabetha lost against Hiawatha on Tuesday and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. The Bluejays took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Red Hawks. The Bluejays have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back matches.

The loss didn't mean the game wasn't competitive: Hiawatha scored at least 18 points in every set. The final score came out to 25-18, 25-19.

Sabetha's defeat dropped their record down to 2-18-2. As for Hiawatha, the victory (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 11-18.

Coincidentally, Sabetha and Hiawatha will both be playing Rossville the next time they take the court. The Red Hawks will host the Bulldogs at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday, while the Bluejays will play them later in the day, at 7:00 p.m.
