Basketball Game Preview: Metro Academy Mavericks vs. Oklahoma F Flame

Having just played yesterday, the Metro Academy Mavericks will jump right back in to play the Oklahoma F Flame at 5:10 p.m. on Friday. Metro Academy will be looking to extend their current seven-game winning streak.

Metro Academy picked up another tournament win on Thursday. They came out on top against Manhattan HomeSchool CHIEF by a score of 53-43.

Meanwhile, winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Oklahoma F). They took their contest last Thursday with ease, bagging a 101-41 victory over Tulsa NOAH HomeSchool. The Flame have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won 14 games by 21 points or more this season.

Oklahoma F pushed their record up to 25-7 with the win, which was their 19th straight at home dating back to last season. Those victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 71.3 points over those games. As for Metro Academy, their victory bumped their record up to 22-11.
