Soccer Game Preview: Chaparral vs. Eldorado

For the second straight game, Chaparral will face off against Eldorado. The Cowboys will be playing in front of their home fans against the Firehawks at 6:15 p.m. on Friday. Chaparral's offense has struggled lately (the team hasn't scored more than a single goal for four straight games), a trend the team is no doubt ready to end.

Chaparral came into their game on Monday off a hard-fought close win, but unfortunately suffered a serious change of fortune. They came up short against Eldorado, falling 9-0. While losing is never fun, Chaparral can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Nevada soccer rankings (they are ranked 61st, while Eldorado are ranked 16th).

Chaparral's defeat dropped their record down to 5-8. As for Eldorado, their win bumped their record up to 9-3.
