Calumet Christian is a perfect 10-0 against La Lumiere since August of 2017 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Thursday. The Patriots will host the Lakers at 5:00 p.m. The teams are on pretty different trajectories at the moment (Calumet Christian has eight straight wins, La Lumiere has three straight losses), but none of that matters once you're on the court.

Calumet Christian's tournament run continued when they took on Portage Christian on Tuesday. The Patriots blew past Portage Christian 3-0.

Not only was the match a shutout, it was a big one: Calumet Christian took every set by at least 14 points. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-5, 25-11, 25-4.

Meanwhile, La Lumiere lost 3-0 to South Bend Riley last Tuesday.

The final score came out to 25-20, 25-16, 25-18.

La Lumiere now has a losing record of 2-3. As for Calumet Christian, their victory bumped their record up to 24-4.

Everything went Calumet Christian's way against La Lumiere in their previous meeting back in October of 2024, as Calumet Christian made off with a 3-0 win. Do the Patriots have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Lakers turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
