Baseball Recap: Lawndale Snags Sixth Win in Last Eight Games

While Lawndale put up plenty of runs on Tuesday, the same can't be said for Centennial. The Cardinals were the clear victors by a 15-0 margin over the Apaches. The Cardinals might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won eight matches by eight runs or more this season.

Seth Alex Rodriguez was incredible, scoring three runs and stealing three bases while getting on base in all four of his plate appearances. That's the most runs he has posted since back in February. The team also got some help courtesy of Guru Rivas, who scored a run while going 3-for-4.

Lawndale is on a roll lately: they've won six of their last eight contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 11-4 record this season. As for Centennial, they dropped their record down to 3-9 with the defeat, which was their fifth straight on the road.

Lawndale will have a chance to go back-to-back against the Apaches: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 3:15 p.m. on Thursday.
