Basketball Recap: South Wasco County Turns Things Around After Road Loss

There's no place like home for South Wasco County, who bounced back after a loss on the road on Friday. They rang in the new year with a 61-54 victory over Horizon Christian on Saturday. While the Redsides didn't have the best season last year (they finished 9-17), it's starting to look like those struggles are a thing of the past.

South Wasco County's win was their fourth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 8-3. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 64.0 points per game. As for Horizon Christian, their loss dropped their record down to 2-5.

South Wasco County will head out to take on Trout Lake at 7:30 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Horizon Christian, they will head out on the road to square off against Lyle at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
