Foster takes down Renton in a playoff battle

It can be hard to translate regular season success to the playoffs, but the Foster Bulldogs had no problem doing just that on Wednesday. They enjoyed a cozy 63-45 victory over the Red Hawks. The win made it back-to-back wins for Foster.
Leading Foster to victory were Mia Pittman and Ariyana Deloney. Pittman scored 19 points along with seven rebounds and four steals, while Deloney scored 22 points along with seven rebounds and two steals. That makes it three consecutive games in which Deloney has scored at least a third of Foster's points. Another player making a difference was Monaea Allen, who scored 12 points.
Foster's win bumped their record up to 15-5. As for Renton, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 6-10.
Foster will face off against Sammamish at 6:30 p.m. on Friday. Sammamish is coming into the match with six straight wins on the road, meaning Foster will have to defend against a team hungry for a win. Renton does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
