Basketball Recap: Miami Valley Comes Up Short

Miami Valley was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They fell 61-54 to the Emmanuel Christian Academy Lions. That's two games in a row now that the Rams have lost by exactly seven points.

Miami Valley now has a losing record at 5-6. As for Emmanuel Christian Academy, they are on a roll lately: they've won six of their last seven contests, which provided a nice bump to their 8-3 record this season.

Miami Valley will get a bit of extra time to process the loss as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Middletown Christian at 7:00 p.m. on January 31st. As for Emmanuel Christian Academy, a feisty cat fight will be fought when the Emmanuel Christian Academy Lions take on the Tri-County North Panthers at 7:00 p.m. on Saturday.
