Carlinville waltzed into their contest on Friday with three straight wins... but they left with four. They claimed a resounding 64-21 win over the North Mac Panthers. The Cavaliers' offense stepped up their game for this one, as that was the most points they've scored all season.

Triston Thompson was his usual excellent self, rushing for 94 yards and a pair of scores. Those 94 rushing yards gave him a new career-high. Tate Duckels was another key player, picking up 96 receiving yards and one TD.

Carlinville's victory bumped their record up to 4-1. As for North Mac, they now have a losing record of 2-3.

We've got plenty of inter-conference action coming up soon. Carlinville is set to take on their familiar foe Litchfield/Mt. Olive at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Meanwhile, North Mac will face off against rival Hillsboro at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
