Volleyball Recap: Diman RVT Picks Up Second Consecutive Win

Diman RVT won the last time they faced Southeastern RVT and Joselaine Jimenez did her part to make sure it happened again. The Bengals put the hurt on the Hawks with a sharp 3-0 win on Thursday thanks in part to Jimenez, who had 21 digs and three aces. Jimenez is crushing it when it comes to digs: she's had at least 13 every time she's taken the court this season.

The victory didn't come easy: Southeastern RVT scored at least 18 points in every set. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-18, 25-23, 25-22.

The win made it two in a row for Diman RVT and bumps their season record up to 7-6. As for Southeastern RVT, their defeat was their fourth straight at home, which dropped their record down to 2-10.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Diman RVT will face off against Brockton at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. The last three games the Boxers have played have been within one set, so don't be surprised if it's a close one. As for Southeastern RVT, they will be playing at home against Dighton-Rehoboth Regional at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
