Soccer Recap: Cascade Comes Up Short

Cascade entered their matchup against Brewster on Thursday without any home losses, but there's a first time for everything. The Kodiaks lost 5-2 to the Bears. Cascade were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as Brewster apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in October of 2024.

Cascade's loss dropped their record down to 9-3. As for Brewster, the victory was the seventh in a row for them, bringing their record up to 12-1-1.

Cascade and Brewster should be looking forward to their upcoming games as both have a sizable advantage in the MaxPreps Washington Rankings. The Kodiaks will square off against Bridgeport at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday with a big rank advantage (98 vs. 203). Meanwhile, Brewster (ranked 64th) will meet Adna (ranked 220th) at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday.
