Volleyball Recap: North Brunswick Comes Up Short

North Brunswick was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their fourth straight defeat. They were a single set away from ending the streak, but they lost a 2-1 heartbreaker at the hands of the East Brunswick Bears. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Bears this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 2-0 back in April.

North Brunswick's loss dropped their record down to 5-12. As for East Brunswick, their win ended a five-game drought on the road and puts them at 7-13.

Looking ahead, North Brunswick will challenge Bergen Catholic at 10:30 a.m. on Saturday. As for East Brunswick, they will face off against St. Joseph on Tuesday. The Falcons will roll in looking for their seventh straight victory, something the Bears surely won't give up without a fight.
