Softball Recap: Humboldt/Open World Learning vs. Roosevelt Teddies

Humboldt/Open World Learning had to hit the road for their first game and it wasn't the result they were hoping for. They fell just short of the Roosevelt Teddies by a score of 8-7 on Thursday.

For Roosevelt's part, the team relied heavily on Eloisa Lysne, who scored a run and stole a base while going 2-for-4. Olivia Wohnoutka was another key contributor, getting on base in three of her four plate appearances with three stolen bases.

Roosevelt's victory was their fifth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 12-6.
