Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Wayne Trace). They came out on top against the Paulding Panthers by a score of 66-53 on Friday. The victory almost wasn't to be: the Raiders were down 53-34 in the third quarter.

Wayne Trace's win ended a four-game drought on the road dating back to last season and puts them at 6-3. As for Paulding, they dropped their record down to 3-7 with the defeat, which was their fourth straight at home.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Wayne Trace will welcome Ottoville at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Paulding, they won't have much time to rest: their next game is against Wauseon at 7:30 p.m. on Saturday.
