Volleyball Recap: All Saints' Academy Has No Trouble Against Ridgeview Global Studies Academy

All Saints' Academy had won three straight at home, but on Tuesday they bumped up to 6-5 to make it four. They were the clear victors by a 3-0 margin over the Ridgeview Global Studies Academy Explorers. That's more bragging rights for the Saints, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.

Aniyah Sanchez was nothing short of spectacular: she had 19 digs and four assists. She has been hot for a while, having posted 11 or more digs the last 26 times she's played.

All Saints' Academy was lethal from the service line and finished the game with 14 aces. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now served at least five aces in seven consecutive contests.

As for Ridgeview Global Studies Academy, their loss dropped their record down to 3-5. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest defeat they have suffered since September 24, 2024.

Despite the loss, Ridgeview Global Studies Academy saw an underclassman step up: sophomore Jihanna Ahmetaj had nine digs and two aces.

Looking ahead, All Saints' Academy will head out on the road to challenge Auburndale at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday. As for Ridgeview Global Studies Academy, they will welcome Santa Fe Catholic at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday.
