Recap: St. Paul Knights vs. Burncoat Patriots
The St. Paul Knights pushed their score all the way to 59 on Friday, but even that wasn't enough to win. They took a 71-59 hit to the loss column at the hands of Burncoat. St. Paul has not had much luck with Burncoat recently, as the team's come up short the last three times they've met.
Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Burncoat to victory, but perhaps none more so than Jean Carlos Pimental, who scored 15 points. Another player making a difference was Jayden Mwangi, who scored 15 points.
St. Paul has not been sharp recently as the team has lost three of their last four matchups, which put a noticeable dent in their 7-8 record this season. As for Burncoat, their victory bumped their record up to 9-6.
St. Paul will head out on the road to challenge St. John's at 6:30 p.m. on Monday. As for Burncoat, they have the luxury of staying home another game and will welcome Blackstone-Millville at 6:30 p.m. on February 12th. Burncoat is facing Blackstone-Millville at the right time seeing as Blackstone-Millville is stuck on a five-game losing streak.
