It was a good run, but Rio Mesa unfortunately witnessed the end of their five-game winning streak on Saturday. They took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Hoover Patriots.

Rio Mesa's loss dropped their record down to 6-6. As for Hoover, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 3-9.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Rio Mesa will host Santa Barbara at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Santa Barbara will roll in looking for their fourth straight victory, something Rio Mesa surely won't give up without a fight. As for Hoover, they will be playing at home against Washington Union at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Hoover is facing Washington Union at the right time seeing as Washington Union is stuck on a six-game losing streak.
