Softball Recap: Lincoln Lancers vs. Denver West Cowboys
Lincoln was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their 26th straight defeat dating back to last season. They lost 15-0 to the Denver West Cowboys. The Lancers were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Cowboys apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in September of 2019.
Lincoln's defeat dropped their record down to 0-5. As for Denver West, their win ended a five-game drought at home and bumped them up to 1-10.
Lincoln didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next game, a 15-2 loss vs. Jefferson on the 20th. Denver West has also already played their next match, a 2-0 defeat against Valley on the 21st.
