Volleyball Game Preview: Conemaugh Township Indians vs. Purchase Line Red Dragons + How To Watch

Conemaugh Township is a perfect 3-0 against Purchase Line since September of 2019 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Tuesday. The Indians will venture away from home to square off against the Red Dragons at 6:00 p.m. Conemaugh Township will be strutting in after a victory while Purchase Line will be coming in after a defeat.

Conemaugh Township is headed into the contest having just posted their closest win since October 8, 2024 on Thursday. They sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 3-2 victory over Marion Center. The Indians haven't had any issues with the Stingers recently, as the game was their fifth consecutive win against them.

Conemaugh Township took Marion Center into a fifth set where they got it done with a two-point win. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 21-25, 25-16, 19-25, 27-25, 16-14.

Conemaugh Township got their victory on the backs of several key players, but it was Quinn Moser out in front who had 14 digs. Those 14 digs gave Moser a new career-high. Csenge Szabo also deserves some recognition as she had her first kill of the season.

Meanwhile, Purchase Line lost 3-0 to West Branch on Monday. The Red Dragons have struggled against the Warriors recently, as the game was their fourth consecutive lost matchup.

The final score came out to 25-14, 25-19, 25-15.

Purchase Line's loss dropped their record down to 8-4. As for Conemaugh Township, their win bumped their record up to 10-1-1.

Everything went Conemaugh Township's way against Purchase Line in their previous matchup back in October of 2024, as Conemaugh Township made off with a 3-0 victory. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Indians since the team won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
