Basketball Recap: Hanford Takes a Loss

Hanford was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their 15th straight loss dating back to last season. They took a blow against the Kennewick Lions, falling 88-52. The Falcons were in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 43-22.

Hanford's defeat dropped their record down to 0-8. As for Kennewick, the victory (which was their fifth in a row) raised their record to 7-2.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Hanford won't have much time to rest: their next match is against Southridge at 5:00 p.m. on Saturday. As for Kennewick, they will also get right back to it: they'll square off against Walla Walla at 5:00 p.m. on Saturday.
