Baseball Recap: Thursday's Win Is Livonia's Eighth in Last Nine Outings

Livonia won the last time they faced Hornell and things went their way on Thursday too. The Bulldogs came out on top in a nail-biter against the Red Raiders, sneaking past 7-5.

Livonia's victory was truly a team effort as five different players contributed at least one hit. One of them was Seth Eadie, who went 3-for-4 with two stolen bases, three RBI, and two runs. Those three RBI gave Eadie a new career-high. Caden Cavo was another, going 1-for-3 with two runs and one RBI.

Livonia has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won eight of their last nine contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 13-4 record this season. Those wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 2.2 runs on average over those games. As for Hornell, their loss ended a three-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 3-10.

Livonia didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next game, a 7-5 victory against East on the 16th. As for Hornell, they also wasted no time getting back out on the field and have already played their next match, a 6-4 win against Dansville on the 16th.
