Volleyball Recap: Dynamic Duo of Igor Sauer and Caden Houston Lead Hagerty to Victory

There's no place like home for Hagerty, who bounced back after a loss on the road last Saturday. Everything went their way against the Lyman Greyhounds on Tuesday as they made off with a 3-0 win. The victory was some much needed relief for the Huskies as it spelled an end to their three-game losing streak.

Hagerty never let Lyman on the board, but things got pretty close in the second set. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-20, 28-26, 25-20.

Leading Hagerty to victory were Caden Houston and Igor Sauer. Houston had three digs and two aces, while Sauer had 13 digs and ten kills. Those 13 digs gave Sauer a new career-high.

Hagerty's win bumped their record up to 8-9. As for Lyman, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost six of their last eight matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 6-7 record this season.

Hagerty will welcome West Orange at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Lyman, they will square off against Bishop Moore at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday.
