Baseball Recap: Olympia Victorious

The Olympia Titans earned a 6-3 victory over the Sunset Knights on Wednesday.

Brendan Furey looked comfortable as he pitched three innings while giving up no earned runs or hits. He has been consistent for a while: he hasn't given up more than two hits any time he's pitched this season.

On the hitting side, Ethan Rathmann was excellent, scoring a run and stealing a base while going 2-for-3. Another player making a difference was Robby Hoffman, who went a perfect 3-for-3 with two RBI.

Olympia was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .375. The last time their batting average was this high was back in April of 2024.

The win got Olympia back to even at 9-9. As for Sunset, their defeat was their eighth straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 6-10.

Olympia has already played their next game, a 17-9 victory against Horizon on the 28th. As for Sunset, they also didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next contest, a 10-6 loss against Ferguson on the 1st.
