Basketball Recap: Lower Cape May Comes Up Short

If Lower Cape May was riding high fresh off their 71-40 takedown of Cumberland on Friday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Lower Cape May Tigers fell just short of the Fair Lawn Cutters by a score of 42-40 on Saturday.

Lower Cape May now has a losing record at 2-3. As for Fair Lawn, the win (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 3-0.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Lower Cape May will welcome Paulsboro at 12:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Fair Lawn, they will look to take advantage of their home court for the first time this season as they take on Bergen Tech at 1:00 p.m. on January 4, 2025.
