Football Recap: Clinton Takes a Loss + How To Watch

Clinton managed to keep up with Powell until halftime on Friday, but things quickly went downhill from there. The Dragons were outmatched by the Panthers and fell 59-28. The Dragons haven't had much luck with the Panthers recently, as the team has come up short the last six times they've met.

Deuce Rodgers produced another solid performance rushing for 127 yards and three scores on only ten carries, while also throwing for 159 yards while completing 75% of his passes for Powell. With that strong performance, Rodgers is now averaging an impressive 103.4 rushing yards per game. Johonauan Moore was another key player, rushing for 81 yards and one touchdown.

Clinton's loss dropped their record down to 2-6. As for Powell, they pushed their record up to 7-1 with the win, which was their fourth straight on the road.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming contests. Clinton will venture away from home to challenge Halls at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The Dragons will need to watch out since the Red Devils have now posted at least 31 points in their last three matchups. As for Powell, they will head out to face off against West at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. The Panthers will need to watch out since the Rebels have now posted at least 31 points in their last three games.
