Basketball Game Preview: Altha Wildcats vs. Liberty County Bulldogs

The Altha Wildcats will take on the Liberty County Bulldogs at 5:30 p.m. on Friday.

Altha is headed into the contest out to prove that what happened against Maclay on Wednesday (when they were outscored in every quarter) was just a minor bump in the road. Altha was dealt a 47-10 loss at the hands of Maclay. The game marked the Wildcats' lowest-scoring matchup so far this season.

Meanwhile, Liberty County didn't have too much trouble with Jefferson County on Tuesday as they won 48-31.

Liberty County found their leader in freshman Kaylee Sexton, who posted 20 points. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Sexton has scored all season. The team also got some help courtesy of Haven Davis, who put up 11 points.

Liberty County has been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four contests, which provided a nice bump to their 7-5 record this season. As for Altha, their defeat dropped their record down to 5-9.
