Football Recap: Lee County Takes a Loss + How To Watch

The Lee County Yellow Jackets lost to the Apex Friendship Patriots on the road by a 31-14 margin on Friday. The Yellow Jackets were down 31-0 at the end of the third quarter, which was just too much to recover from.

Aiden Poole threw for 182 yards and two TDs on only 17 passes. Lincoln Smith was his top target, picking up 65 receiving yards and one score. On the ground, Brandon Baldwin rushed for 26 yards.

Lee County's loss dropped their record down to 0-2. As for Apex Friendship, they pushed their record up to 2-0 with the victory, which was their seventh straight at home dating back to last season.

Looking ahead, Lee County is taking a road trip to challenge Overhills at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Apex Friendship, they will square off against Southern Lee at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
