Bishop Fenwick had lost five games at home, but after bumping their record up to 4-8 on Friday that streak is in the rearview. They blew past the Archbishop Alter Knights 15-5. The Falcons' hitters stepped up their game for this one, as that was the most runs they've scored all season.

As for Archbishop Alter, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost 12 of their last 14 matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 6-15 record this season. Their loss continues a trend for the squad, making it ten in a row.

For Archbishop Alter's part, they got a good showing from Owen Thompson, who tossed three innings while giving up just one earned (and one unearned) run off four hits.

On the hitting side, Will Hooper and Thomas Drake did some serious damage despite the final result: Hooper got on base in two of his three plate appearances with two stolen bases and two runs, while Drake went a perfect 2-for-2 with one stolen base, one run, and one RBI.
