Baseball Game Preview: Southmoore SaberCats vs. Owasso Rams

The Southmoore SaberCats will challenge the Owasso Rams at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. The timing isn't great for Southmoore: they have been struggling with four straight losses at home, while Owasso has snatched up 19 consecutive wins on the road dating back to last season.

Southmoore lost 13-1 to Moore on Friday.

Meanwhile, Owasso got the win against Tulsa NOAH HomeSchool on Friday by a conclusive 7-1. Considering the Rams have won 22 matches by more than five runs this season, Friday's blowout was nothing new.

Owasso's victory bumped their record up to 29-2. As for Southmoore, their defeat dropped their record down to 11-13.

Southmoore suffered a grim 12-0 defeat to Owasso when the teams last played back in April of 2023. Can the SaberCats avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
