Basketball Recap: Rochester Academy Takes a Loss

Rochester Academy came into their game on Saturday off a hard-fought close win, but unfortunately suffered a serious change of fortune. They had to suffer through a 75-38 loss at the hands of the Fillmore Eagles. While losing is never fun, the Racers can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' New York basketball rankings (they are ranked 731st, while the Eagles are ranked 93rd).

Rochester Academy has also traveled a rocky road recently having lost 11 of their last 12 games, which has put a noticeable dent in their 2-14 record this season. As for Fillmore, the victory was the fourth in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 18-2.

Rochester Academy does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Fillmore, they will look to defend their home court on Wednesday against Genesee Valley/Belfast at 7:30 p.m.
