Aurora Central and Gateway are an even 4-4-2 against one another since April of 2015, but likely not for long. The Trojans will venture away from home to take on the Olympians at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday.

Aurora Central lost 4-1 to Skyview on Tuesday. Aurora Central have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Meanwhile, Gateway kept a clean sheet against Overland on Tuesday. They blew past the Trailblazers 3-0. The score was all tied up 0-0 at the break, but Gateway were the better team in the second half.

Sa'Mya Shazier and Ashley Hernandez scored all three of Gateway's goals, bringing their combined season tally to eight goals.

Aurora Central's loss dropped their record down to 1-5. As for Gateway, they now have a winning record of 3-2-1.

Aurora Central couldn't quite get it done against Gateway in their previous meeting back in April of 2024 as they fell 2-0. Can the Trojans avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
