Softball Recap: Roosevelt Takes a Loss

Roosevelt entered their matchup against Hunter College on Friday without any home losses, but there's a first time for everything. Roosevelt came up short against Hunter College, falling 17-8. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against Hunter College this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 16-1 on Thursday.

This is the second loss in a row for Roosevelt and nudges their season record down to 6-4. As for Hunter College, the victory keeps they at an undefeated 6-0.

Roosevelt does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Hunter College, they will challenge Goddard Communications Arts & Tech at 4:00 p.m. on Monday. The Jaguars have struggled to contain batters this season (they've allowed 11.11 runs per game on average), something the Hawks will no doubt try to take advantage of.
