Soccer Game Preview: Camden County vs. Manteo

Camden County is on a five-game streak of home wins, while Manteo is on a three-game streak of away wins: one of those streaks is about to end. The Bruins will welcome the Redskins at 5:00 p.m. on Monday. Camden County is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 3.3 goals per game this season.

Camden County's defense heads into the contest hoping to repeat the dominance they displayed on Wednesday. They came out on top against Perquimans by a score of 2-0. Given Camden County's advantage in MaxPreps' North Carolina soccer rankings (they are ranked 171st, while Perquimans are ranked 415th) , the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Hunter White and Ethan Barclift scored both of Camden County's goals, bringing their combined season tally to six goals.

Meanwhile, Manteo made easy work of Gates County on Thursday and carried off a 4-0 victory. The result was nothing new for Manteo, who have now won seven matchups by four goals or more so far this season.

Manteo's win bumped their record up to 9-3. As for Camden County, their victory bumped their record up to 10-2-2.
