Volleyball Recap: South Side Comes Up Short

South Side was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They lost 3-0 to the Guy-Perkins Thunderbirds. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Thunderbirds this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 2-0 back in August.

South Side now has a losing record of 5-6. As for Guy-Perkins, they have been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 13-5 record this season.

We've got plenty of inter-conference action coming up soon. South Side will take on rival Dardanelle at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Meanwhile, Guy-Perkins is set to face off against their familiar foe Two Rivers at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday.
