Baseball Recap: Gloucester County Christian Conquerors vs. King's Christian Knights

After flying high against Cumberland Christian on Monday, Gloucester County Christian came back down to earth. The Conquerors fell 11-7 to the King's Christian Knights on Tuesday. The Conquerors were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Knights apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in May of 2024.

JD Greenwood was huge no matter where he played even without the win. He tossed 3.1 innings while giving up just one earned run off three hits. He has been consistent recently: he hasn't given up more than one walk in three consecutive appearances. He was also solid in the batter's box, going a perfect 3-for-3 with three runs and one stolen base.
