Basketball Recap: Lake of the Woods Find Success

Lake of the Woods won the last time they faced Floodwood and things went their way on Friday too. The Lake of the Woods Bears came out on top in a nail-biter against the Floodwood Polar Bears, sneaking past 40-38.

Lake of the Woods picked up their first road victory, bumping their record up to 2-18. As for Floodwood, they are on a 47-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-21.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Lake of the Woods will square off against Kelliher/Northome at 7:15 p.m. on Monday. As for Floodwood, they will host Hill City at 7:15 p.m. on Monday.
