West Orange extended their winning streak to six on Thursday, bumping them up to 9-1. They came out on top against the Dr. Phillips Panthers by a score of 28-19. For the Warriors, this counts as revenge for the 33-11 victory the Panthers walked away with the last time they faced one another back in November of 2024.

A big part of West Orange's win came down to the chemistry between Andrew 'AJ' Chung and his top target Edison Delgado. Chung threw for 241 yards and three TDs while picking up 11.0 yards per attempt while Delgado picked up 152 receiving yards and one score. Delgado's longest reception was for an incredible 86 yards.

On the defensive side of the ball, a lot of the credit has to go to West Orange's defense and their three sacks. Leading the way was Nolan Herman with two. He is also on a roll when it comes to total tackles, as he's now made five or more in each of the last five games he's played. West Orange got some further help from Nolan Turner: he made 21 total tackles (2.5 for loss).

As for Dr. Phillips, their loss dropped their record down to 7-3. Despite 158 more yards than West Orange, the Panthers couldn't convert that extra yardage to scores.

When it comes to explaining why Dr. Phillips lost, don't look at Zion Matthews. Despite the final result, he rushed for 152 yards.
