Football Recap: West Johnston Takes a Loss

West Johnston lost against Southern Lee back in August of 2018 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Wildcats fell 28-23 to the Cavaliers.

Although West Johnston took the loss, they still got scores from Kayden Dowdy and Gavin Roberts.

West Johnston's loss dropped their record down to 3-5. As for Southern Lee, their win ended a three-game drought at home and bumped them up to 2-6.

West Johnston didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next matchup, a 35-7 victory against Western Harnett on the 24th. As for Southern Lee, they also wasted no time getting back out on the field and have already played their next contest, a 50-13 defeat against Harnett Central on the 24th.
