Gilroy dropped their record down to 18-7 on Thursday, which also ended the team's six-game streak of wins. They lost 10-0 to the Willow Glen Rams. The Mustangs were red-hot at the plate heading into the contest (they scored no less than ten runs in the three matchups prior), but the Rams' pitchers proved too tough.

Gilroy saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Dani Wilson, who went 1-for-2 with one stolen base. Wilson has been hot, having posted at least one stolen base the last five times she's played.

As for Willow Glen, the victory keeps they at an undefeated 26-0. The wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 1.4 runs on average this season.

On Willow Glen's side, the team relied heavily on Haley Ocumen, who went 3-for-4 with one home run, three runs, and three RBI. That's the most RBI Ocumen has posted over her last ten games. The team also got some help courtesy of Sienna Wilson, who got on base in all three of her plate appearances with one run, one double, and one RBI.

As of now, neither Gilroy nor Willow Glen have any future games scheduled.
