If Live Oak wanted to avenge their loss from the last time they played Oroville, they should've done a better job of containing Kevin Taylor. The Oroville Tigers claimed a resounding 69-22 victory over the Live Oak Lions thanks in part to Taylor, who shot 4-for-7 from beyond the arc and dropped a double-double with 30 points and ten boards. He continues to improve, besting his previous point total in each of the last four games he's played.

The team also got some help courtesy of Jet Lee, who posted six points and four steals. That's the most steals he has posted since back in December of 2024.

Oroville's win bumped their record up to 8-17. As for Live Oak, they are on a ten-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 7-14.

As for Live Oak, a feisty cat fight will be fought as the Lions take on the Cardinals at 7:30 p.m. on Friday.
