It was a good run, but Uplift unfortunately witnessed the end of their three-match winning streak on Friday. They fell just short of the Holy Trinity Tigers by a score of 2-1.

In an exciting match in which no team claimed back-to-back wins, Uplift sadly wound up on the wrong side. The final score came out to 25-22, 11-25, 25-20.

Uplift's defeat dropped their record down to 13-8. As for Holy Trinity, the victory snapped their losing streak at five matches and leaves them with a 3-13 record.

Coming up, Uplift will head out on the road to take on Chicago Mathematics & Science at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Holy Trinity does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
