Baseball Recap: Cascade Comes Up Short

Cascade was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their fifth straight loss. They came up short against the Chelan Mountain Goats, falling 12-2. Unfortunately, that's the third time they've come up short against the Mountain Goats this season, with their most recent defeat being a 14-1 loss on Thursday.

Cascade saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Colton Chase, who went 1-for-2 with one run.

Cascade's defeat dropped their record down to 2-15. As for Chelan, they are on a roll lately: they've won eight of their last ten matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 12-7-1 record this season.

As of now, neither Cascade nor Chelan have any future games scheduled.
