Basketball Recap: Whitehall's Win on Tuesday Extends Winning Streak to Eight

Whitehall extended their winning streak to eight games thanks to a huge performance from Camden Thompson. The Whitehall Vikings sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with an 83-80 win over the Mona Shores Sailors on Tuesday thanks in part to Thompson, who dropped a double-double on 35 points and 17 rebounds. The matchup was his 22nd in a row with at least ten points.

Another player making a difference was Hunter Osborne, who posted 18 points. Those 18 points gave him a new career-high.

Whitehall pushed their record up to 12-2 with the victory, which was their fourth straight at home. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 70.5 points per game. As for Mona Shores, their defeat dropped their record down to 5-8.

Whitehall wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next game, an 83-56 win against Ludington on the 31st. Mona Shores has also already played their next contest (against Byron Center), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
