Softball Recap: Aliceville Yellowjackets vs. Tuscaloosa Academy Knights
Aliceville and Tuscaloosa Academy squared off in some playoff action on Friday, but Aliceville had to settle for second. They lost 22-4 to the Tuscaloosa Academy Knights. The defeat leaves Aliceville without a win on the season.
For Tuscaloosa Academy's part, Anna Claire Johnson was incredible, scoring four runs and stealing two bases while getting on base in all four of her plate appearances. Another player making a difference was Sarah Johnson, who scored two runs and stole a base while getting on base in three of her four plate appearances.
Aliceville's loss dropped their record down to 0-22. As for Tuscaloosa Academy, their win ended a four-game drought at home and bumped them up to 7-12.
As of now, neither Aliceville nor Tuscaloosa Academy have any future games scheduled.
