Baseball Recap: Tipton Christian Academy Find Success

After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Millington Central, Tipton Christian Academy was happy to have turned things around on Friday. They had just enough and edged out the Ripley Tigers 6-5. This was a revenge game for the Eagles: when they faced off against the Tigers back in March, they had to take a 3-2 loss.

Austin Tucker was excellent, going 1-for-3 with two runs and one double. He has become a key player for Tipton Christian Academy: the team is 4-2 when he posts at least two runs, but 5-15 otherwise.

Tipton Christian Academy's victory bumped their record up to 9-17. As for Ripley, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 4-15.

Looking ahead, Tipton Christian Academy will square off against Halls at 4:30 p.m. on Monday. The Tigers will roll in looking for their fourth straight win, something the Eagles surely won't give up without a fight. Ripley does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
