Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Reedsport). They put the hurt on the Myrtle Point Bobcats with a sharp 25-10 win on Thursday. Considering Reedsport has won eight games by more than nine runs this season, Thursday's blowout was nothing new.

Reedsport's victory was their fifth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 8-6. The home wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 16.4 runs over those games. As for Myrtle Point, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-12.

Reedsport has already played their next contest, a 10-1 victory against Waldport on the 9th. As for Myrtle Point, they will take on Yoncalla at 4:30 p.m. on Monday. The Eagles have struggled to contain batters this season (they've allowed 13.07 runs per game on average), something the Bobcats will no doubt try to take advantage of.
