Volleyball Recap: Silver Lake Regional Comes Up Short

Silver Lake Regional was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their seventh straight loss. They came up short against the Quincy Presidents, falling 3-0. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Presidents this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 3-0 back in April.

The match finished with set scores of 25-13, 25-10, 25-19.

Lincoln Schmidt paced Silver Lake Regional's offense, picking up four kills. Schmidt got some help from Miguel Gomes and his six assists. Gomes was also solid from the service line: he led the team with two aces.

Silver Lake Regional's defeat dropped their record down to 1-8. As for Quincy, they now have a winning record of 4-3.

Silver Lake Regional wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next game, a 3-1 loss against Hingham on the 8th. Quincy has also already played their next match (against Randolph), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
